Due to COVID-19 and state mandates regulating the operation of bars in Texas, we will be operating a bit differently going forward. We appreciate you taking the time to understand our changed operations and helping us provide a great time for you and your friends.
Reservations are not required but they are strongly encouraged as all guests must have a table and tables are managed exclusively by our hosts. To make a reservation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We love walk-ins. If you do not have a reservation, sections are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Just check in with the host and we’ll get you on the list. You can also enjoy a selection of beer and wine in our entrance patio while you wait.
All guests must be seated and we cannot offer bar service per State of Texas mandate. We will provide full service to you at your table. We have the following tables available on any given night:
– 4 large sections with Cabana-style seating for groups of 6-10
– 4 large sections with oversize high-top seating for groups of 6-10
– 6 high-top tables for groups of 1-5
Sorry, No Cash for Now
For the foreseeable future, we will not be accepting cash. If this presents an issue to you, please contact us at email@example.com.
Prior to the shutdown, we offered a full kitchen and allowed limited desserts to be brought in. For the opening, we have made the decision to suspend our kitchen but we do still allow small cakes and cupcakes. We do not, however, allow any other food on the rooftop. With cupcakes and cakes, we do not have the ability to store them. We also do not provide utensils, plates or cake-cutting knives. You will need to bring these with you. We also have a cake and cupcake tax. We will insist upon a cupcake and/or a slice of cake.
DJ’s and Music
We have DJ’s every Friday and Saturday night and during the day on Sundays. We have a defined music format that we insist on adhering to. Provided the requested song is within our format and we haven’t already played it, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot, unfortunately, guarantee it. The music format is best defined as pop/dance hits that span the 80s to today. A good rule of thumb is 104 KRBE – if you ever heard it on 104, there is a very good chance it meets our format.
Weekend nights, our dress code is dressy casual but we understand that it gets hot out so dressy shorts and dressy t-shirts are fine. No sports attire outside of ball caps, please. On Sundays, wear whatever the hell you want as long as it covers you in all of the expected places. We do not require guests to wear any mouth covering at any time. We’ll leave that decision in your hands, but if you’re not feeling well, we’d appreciate it if you came to visit us another day.
We allow limited decorations such as balloons and small tabletop ornaments. Please let us know about any decoration plans when making your reservation.
For the Love of All Things Holy, No Glitter
Under no circumstances can you bring glitter, confetti or anything of that ilk. It is an absolute nightmare for us to clean up and will result in a $300 cleaning fee. Please don’t make us enforce this. It sucks.
A 20% service charge will be added to all transactions. You may choose to tip in excess of 20% if you like but it is not expected.
Parking and Valet
Valet is not being offered at this time and parking is limited. Please plan accordingly.
We will be following the State of Texas guidelines around maintaining a safe environment including thoroughly cleaning all tables and chairs after each use, providing disposable menus and frequently cleaning all surfaces touched by guests and employees. We will provide hand washing/sanitizing stations at our entrance and in the restrooms. Our restrooms will also have a full-time attendant cleaning each restroom and sink after every use.
